    Adoption Origins Tasmania began in 1996. It was established to help those have been affected by or separated by adoption.

    If you read the news or hear of people talking about losing their child to adoption then I hope this site will help you understand what many women, men and children have endured through the years.

    I understand that there are many people in the world who feel that these men women and children should let sleeping dogs lie but unfortunately there are circumstances that don't allow that to happen. Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome is common among people who have suffered from a traumatic experience and a lot of women who have had to endure years of torment because they were forced into relinquishing their child suffer from this.

    I hope that everyone who comes to this site will appreciate what the men, women and children have been through throughout their lives.
